It’s hard to put into words what exactly “Dream Yoga,” Vibrational Healing, or Inner Work truly are.
And above all: what’s really behind it all in practice.

At its core, it’s about turning inward.
About working with our shadows instead of constantly distracting ourselves from fear or uncomfortable emotions.
Because whether we face them or not, these unresolved aspects continue to act out unconsciously in our daily lives.

It takes willpower, focus, and energy to catch even a glimpse of what lies beyond the veil of this reality.
But first, you have to start somewhere – with what you have, with what is here now.

To give you a better sense of it, we’re sharing some personal experiences and testimonials from those who’ve explored Vibrational Healing and the Dream Yoga- Practice at the Black Dragon Academy.

ABOUT DREAM YOGA

“I don’t know where this fear originally came from. In this lifetime, I’ve never experienced a hurricane in my physical reality.And yet, again and again, I had terrifying nightmares of hurricane scenarios. I was already deeply distressed and paranoid, thinking they might be prophetic visions and that it would all happen soon.
At the time, I was very involved with dreams, including lucid dreaming. But it didn’t really get me anywhere. Especially since I hadn’t managed to become lucid in my dreams and above all, to stay lucid.
During my research, I came across the Dream Yoga practice. It's primarily about training your focus, learning to direct and sustain it. First during the day, and eventually also at night.There are so many deep aspects to it, and it’s hard to put them into words. But an astonishing amount has shifted since then.
The most amazing thing: in one of those recurring nightmares, I finally managed to become lucid, to become aware that I was dreaming. I knew it was a dream, and that nothing could happen to me.So I decided: This time, I’m staying. Let the hurricane completely surround and destroy me. I won’t run, and I won’t wake up drenched in sweat and fear.
And what do you know: nothing happened to me.I stayed calmly and steadfastly in the eye of the storm, so to speak. I was able to face my fear!
Since then, the nightmares have disappeared and they’ve never come back. I still feel such relief when I think about it. And I now know the power and potential that lies within the Dream Yoga practice.

“I truly had no idea what Dream Yoga actually meant. It sounded very pleasant and beautiful, even a bit dreamy. I always associated dreaming with something beautiful. But why, really?
During the sessions, I learned that it’s not about that. Not about chasing more and more pleasant states. Which are so fleeting anyway.Rather, it’s about working with WHAT IS no matter whether I judge it as good or bad.
It was exactly these judgments, this constant desire to feel better, that turned into a kind of restlessness and began to frustrate me.So at first, the Dream Yoga course frustrated me too. Because I could hardly manage to leave my fixed, everyday reality behind. To feel, to sense  like in a dream.
But more and more, I started to remember.I imagined: If I were dreaming right now, how would I perceive myself? How would I feel my body? What would my surroundings look like?
What do I WANT to dream?
That I’m heavy like a lump and can’t move?Or that I’m light and flexible?
It was amazing how, through this, I came more and more into the present moment. How I learned to perceive — not just to think, think, think.I wouldn’t want to miss it for anything.”

ABOUT VIBRATIONAL HEALING

“I went to the vibration session because I had just entered menopause and had been struggling with several symptoms since then. What bothered me the most were the pains in the uterus area. Everything felt heavy and tense.
I never would have thought that sound alone- the vibration could be felt so intensely. I had tried quite a few things: massages, herbal antispasmodics, stretching and movement. But nothing really had an effect.
So I didn’t have high hopes for the session.But honestly, it was incredible how strongly I could feel the impact of the vibration during the session (and I’m not an especially sensitive person). At times, it was even painful  but accompanied by the deep sense that something very healing was happening.
After the session, I felt a noticeable physical relief. As if something stagnant, something heavy, had finally dissolved.And that was just one session.I’m still amazed that something like that can happen through sound.”

“I have to say, I’m really skeptical when it comes to things like this. A lot of it feels like hocus-pocus to me. “Healing through vibration”… yeah right, who came up with that one, I thought.
But honestly, I was also pretty desperate. Ever since the operation on my larynx, I’d been stuck with this horrible sensation in my throat. I couldn’t swallow properly, and most of all: my voice just wouldn’t come through.It always sounded like it was covered by a dull, muffling layer, and I constantly had to clear my throat.
That was the state I was in when I came to the session.And after the session: the feeling was gone!I honestly couldn’t believe it myself and just burst into tears.
My voice still felt shaky and a bit “untrained.” But that sensation of something being stuck there was pretty much gone. Not completely yet, but I’m going to learn how to support my own healing with vibration now.And above all: I won’t be so quick anymore to say something doesn’t work without having tried it myself.”

“I joined the vibration self-healing course because I constantly felt a blockage in my heart area. My whole chest felt tight and, at times, even painful when I breathed.
I had tried several things, mainly breathing exercises, meditations, and heart-opening yoga sequences. Sometimes it felt a bit better afterwards, but never really resolved.
In the course, I learned how to create a connection with my body, a connection with myself and with my heart.Through gentle and sometimes powerful vibrations that I can generate from within, just by using my own sound.I had no idea there was so much inside me and that so much wanted to come out, to be expressed.
Now I do a little healing session for myself every day using my own sound. That’s all I need.And that’s a beautiful feeling.
Whenever I notice something in my body falling out of balance, I direct the vibration exactly to that point and soften it, make it more fluid.Often, that’s enough already. And I keep being fascinated by the effects.
Overall, the vibration course made me much more aware of my body, more sensitive, more attuned.I trust myself more. I trust that I can help myself.And the best part: I can breathe again!That’s a wonderful feeling.”
